VERY special bday treats!!!!!!

See that Murano glass black heart shaped ring? Yeah. I used to have one just like it. I bought it while I was visiting Venice about 2 years ago. Then some douchebag didn’t bother to return it to its rightful owner when I accidentally left it in my office bathroom.
I have returned.. I dunno how many rings (engagement rings included!!!) without a blood clot doubt to the proper lost and found.

Long story short. I cried like a loser when I lost it, posted 17 “Lost Ring” posters around my workplace….then Vicks and Phil manged to find me the exact same one from their trip to Venice, lied and said it was nowhere to be found, and presented it as my birthday gift, and I cried in happiness! Oh and the MAC Wonder Woman special edition lipgloss! Pissed that I couldn’t attend the launch party, but still got a little keepsake.

Damn! You guys really got me! xo
I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.

And it’s just the beginning of the week! If you know me well, then you should know what’s coming next ๐Ÿ˜‰

to be continued…

Hope everyone’s enjoying their super bowl weekend. Weekends are obviously NOT long enough. I’ve been exhausted from work and spent half my weekend sleeping like a grizzly bear. I attempted to take advantage of the beautiful snow with some pics, but ran out of time as I had a 100 things to catch up on after my mini hibernation. BUT I’m happy to announce that I took advantage of McDonald’s coupons before they expired.
You forgot about that one, didn’t you?

In the meantime, I would like you to meet – Shannae Ingleton! Woman extraordinaire.
I had the pleasure of meeting Shannae for the first time in one of my styling classes as a guest speaker. I was intrigued by her personality,ย  interests, background, her ideas and goals for the future and how she planned to go about them. Not to mention, SUPER fashawnable – the girls’ got some mad smokin’ hot style……and smokin’ hot in general.
Her visit to my class left me motivated, and inspired.

Fast forward about 2 years later. I had the biggest pleasure of chatting with Shannae one on one through a mutual friend about a month ago. It’s a small world I’m tellin’ ya.

Hi. I love her. We share so much in common…almost TOO MUCH in common it was scary yet, real comforting to speak with someone who fully understood where I was coming from. We had similar experiences and views on just about everything we touched on. Amazing person she is.

And if you don’t know exactly who Shannae is by now, she is the founder of What Women Want, a way to bring women together and inspiring them throughย  unique experiences and events such as “Wine and Dine in a dress“; “Literary Journey” and “You Day“.
These awesome events get bigger and better each year and they sell out like hot cakes!
Shannae dedicates so much of her time through these events, to make the continuous effort to reminds us women that sometimes we need to stop and treat ourselves. To re-discover ourselves, our beauty, individuality, and so much more. All of us ladies need and deserve that!

Check Shannae out! Big changes are in store for What Women Want! She rocks.

Ya. I fully Instagrammed it.

What a great end to a nice, relaxing weekend. I hope you all enjoyed it as well (despite this BLASTED COLD)!
I received some very exciting news ๐Ÿ™‚ and what better way to have a little mini celebration with BFF, wine, snackity snacks, and season 2 marathon of For the Love of Ray J, and keeping BFF’s hubby out of his own room (oops!).

A lil' bubbly

Gotta watch out for this little guy. FOOD VULTURE!

Now back to the paper chase.
Outfit posts are a-comin’! IT’S DAYUM COLD!

Casa Loma, that is.

Usually, I stay home on New Years Eve (with the exception of last year), in my extra large sweater and jogging pants, sans bra, eating chips, Turtles and sipping on an extra large bubble tea until I fall asleep, which is the best thing ever.ย  It’s overrated and expanse to go out, but you gotta do it up at least once…right?
After much hesitation and whining, I agreed to buy a million dollar ticket, come correct and roll with some friends to Casa Loma. I was thrilled to find out my boy M-Rock was djing for the night, so I knew that I was guaranteed some reeeeaaaalll gooooood bangin’ music, which turned out, truuuuuueeeee.
On top of that, the venue was incredible. Nice crowd, well organized, not rammed like sardines, beautiful people…I swear I felt like I was on a season finale episode of Gossip Girl!

I danced till my shoes came off, then put them back on the wrong feet, made friends with everyone in the castle, ate cupcakes on the floor, and a whole buncha other stuff that seems to be a blur, until I was caressing the curves of that sexy porcelain toilet the next morning.

I hope everyone had a great start to the new year! Let’s see what 2011 will bring us!
Please excuuuuse my point & shoot cam!
